🐾 2026 Fast & Furry Volunteer Information

Thank you for joining us as a volunteer for Fast & Furry on April 26, 2026, at Assiniboine Park!

Fast & Furry is a fun, community-focused 5KM and 10KM run/walk through the beautiful, well-groomed pathways of Assiniboine Park. This “pawesome” event welcomes participants with — or without — their favourite four-legged friend and celebrates the joy of movement, community, and connection.

This year’s event also supports K9 Advocacy Manitoba. Participants are encouraged to donate and help raise awareness for the incredible work they do supporting dogs and dog owners in our community.

Volunteers like you are essential to the success of our events. Manitoba Marathon is fortunate to have a dedicated and hardworking team of volunteers, and we are truly honoured that you’ve chosen to share your time with us. Your support helps create a welcoming, safe, and memorable experience for every participant — human and canine alike.

As a thank-you, all Fast & Furry volunteers will receive access to our volunteer hospitality area with refreshments and treats.
